BEGINNER - BEGINNER (ADVANCED) LEVEL​
Minimum Age: 4+
Experience Level: Little skating experience
About the Course:​​

Learning to skate, gaining fundamental speed skating skills, building confidence on the ice through games and drills

The FULL rink is reserved for this class
Class Day: Sundays (Refer to Term Dates)
Class Time: 6:15pm-7:00pm (On ice time)
Students should arrive 15mins early to put on equipment

IMPROVER - ADVANCED LEVEL

Minimum Age: 6+
Experience Level: Need to be able to skate comfortably forwards without any assistance at all

Developing speed skating technique, skating laps in speed skating position, practicing through drills and race

​Class Time: 4:15pm-6:15pm (Dryland & On Ice)
Location: Cityplaza Ice Palace​ & Cityplaza Podium
Rundown:
4:15pm-5:00pm Dryland training at Cityplaza podium (walking distance from Cityplaza ice rink)
5:00pm-5:15pm Walk from Podium to Ice Rink, get ready for on ice practice
5:15pm-6:15pm On Ice training at Cityplaza ice rink

Payments should normally be made for the full term. Except in the case of new joiners joining in the middle of the term, you may deduct the class fee of classes prior to your date of joining (Beginner: $400/class; Improver: $600/class). For the first class, new students will be provided with speed skating equipment (short track speed skates, helmet and gloves). After the first class, students need to decide if they will purchase or rent equipment going forwards.

Students are recommended to purchase their own short track speed skating equipment and protection gear. The equipment order form can be viewed in the registration link and will also be sent to you after registration. You can purchase equipment from other vendors or overseas websites that meets the requirement on your own but skates bought from outside need to be sharpened and ready for use. Hong Kong Skating School will not be able to provide skates sharpening service for poor quality blades.
